First of all, I would like to say that my order for Gaffer Tape was put in on 9/23/14 & I received it on 9/24/14 from the USPS. That is mighty fast. So I was already a impressed, which is good because the price does seem to be a little on the heavy side. Well you know the old saying, you get what you pay for, it is very true because Gaffer Tape from the Gaffer Power company is really high quality. You can actually feel the difference from other tapes as soon as you get it. This tape is much heavier then any other tape I have ever tried.
I received the black tape. It is a flat black in color which is much nicer then other tapes because you don't get that shine look that stands out when your trying to use tape discreetly. Its 2 inches in width and approximately 30 yards. It is threaded with a magical type fiber that is really strong yet very easy to tear.

I am a mom of 3 kids, I really did not think I would be so easily impressed by"Tape" but I truly am.
I used Gaffer Tape to tie and hold all my wires together and in place that were sticking out of the side of my entertainment center. You know the wires I am talking about, those black wires from the TV, DVD, Cable, Surround Sound Speakers, Game Consoles, etc. Our entertainment center is made of glass and all those pesky wires were such an eyesore before and now it looks 100x better.
Like I said before, Gaffer Tape is so easy to use and you really do not need any other tools when using it, like scissors or anything because even though it is very strong it is super easy to tear. As a mom, that's a big plus!
I did receive Gaffer Tape free to try and test in exchange for my honest opinion and I am really glad I did.
It is going to be put to great use now that the holidays are coming, and I will be able to use it in putting out my decorations since it is also waterproof.Far better then duct tape and electrical tape!

I would also like to let you know that it comes in white to which is great for falt screen tvs that are mounted on the walls.
